The “No Diet” Diet

Posted: August 30, 2011 in Nutrition

Hey everybody

Training is going great, onto the third week now so it’s getting a little bit easier and the results are starting to happen.

What i want to talk about today is diet, just type in diet into google and you will realize there is absolutely hundreds out there, like anything else some are good some are bad.

For my clients i advise them to be on the “no diet” diet

You cannot turn on the tv or open a newspaper these days without knowing what is bad for you, we all know fried foods are BAD , we all know Microwaved meals are BAD, so whats good

Everyday should consist of a healthy Breakfast, a fruit snack, a healthy Lunch, another fruit snack, and a dinner which consists of lean meats and a small serving of vegetables and possibly a sneaky snack

There is no secrets to this people, If you exercise and follow my diet, you will 100% lose weight and tone up.

For more Information on what to eat at those times, Please contact me on the comment section or on my gregkennyfitness Facebook page.

Hope to hear from you soon

Hey Everybody

Hope you’re keeping well apologies I have not been updating, but i just felt instead of talking about getting in shape again I had to actually get the thumb out,

The past week has been a tough one iv been running with my iPhone so updating my personal Facebook page, the training has got better, i totally realize the frustration of trying to get back in to shape and how hard you have to work.

Plese trust me though if you stick to a plan you will get there, my training has turned the corner and I know yours will too.

Just contact me today about getting your own training plan up and running

Hi Folks

After yesterdays disaster of a run i actually realize how tough it can be to get back in shape after a holiday or a long injury lay off, but trust me patience is the answer, rome was not built in a day and either is your ultimate fitness.

Im going to take a break from the running today and hit the gym for a full body weights session consisting of deadlifts squats and bodyweight excercises like push ups and pull ups, if you would like a more detailed plan hit me up with a mail.

Remember stay positive the first few weeks are always the toughest

Hey everybody

Well its Monday again the start of another training week, if your still feeling the effects of the weekend why not try out my monday gym cardio session, everybody is able to do it as you can do it at your own pace, i start off by 5 mins on the bike to warm up then a quick stretch, now the fun begins the next 20 mins is performed at the highest intensity that you can, so its

5 Min Cross trainer (Hard)

5 Min Bike (Hard)

5 Min Treadmill (Hard)

5 Min Rower or AMT (Hard)

Then for the more adventourous i can give you a toning session to do after this to really make the legs woble and put that weekend well and truely behind you

Hey Folks

Yesterday was my first real day back training so it was important to take it nice and easy, so i done a slow 30min run around rathcoole park, although this was slow it helped build up some strength in the legs and try calm the breathing down, although i was very tired at the end i know after a few more of these il start to feel a bit more fluid.

For your own training you should start like this but not the full half an hour try instead to see how long you can run for at your slowest pace, don’t let yourself get out of breath simply stop for two minutes and try repeat the same time,

I have picked a 10k in a month to get ready for in Blessington, you should also try pick a goal it helps you get up and out the door.

Did you used to exercise regularly and now find its a such a long way back to fitness, research has shown a break in exercise can lead to mood swings and lack of motivation, If your looking to get back in shape or start new, just send me a message on your exercise background and what goals you have if any. I will start you on your way and give you the best advise to do it at your own pace.
